Job Title: Engineer III

KAMO Power, located in Vinita, Oklahoma is in search of a Engineer III. The work location will be Vinita Headquarters.

An Engineering in the substation design department will work on the physical design of new substations or maintenance redesign of existing structures. Responsible for developing project scopes, conceptual designs, one-lie diagrams and cost estimates for substation projects.

Ideal candidates should possess a general knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D as it relates to electric power transmission and distribution substations. Demonstrate general technical knowledge of substation components such as transformers, circuit breakers, circuit switchers, capacitor banks, wave traps, reactors, and buss work.

A Bachelor of Science Degree in mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited school is required. Ideal candidates should have four (4) to seven (7) years of experience.

All levels of experience will be considered. Job and pay grade will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.

Now Hiring: Field Systems Analyst II
📍 Location: KAMO Power Facility – Vinita, Oklahoma

KAMO Power is seeking a Field Systems Analyst II to join our team in Vinita, Oklahoma. This position is responsible for the troubleshooting, installation, testing, and repair of a wide range of complex telecommunications and computer systems, including fiber optics, two-way radio systems, microwave systems, SCADA, and more.

With a focus on both field work and technical systems, the ideal candidate will bring strong experience in telecommunications transmission technologies and electronic theory. The role includes both underground and aerial fiber construction, equipment installation at Point-of-Presence (POP) sites, and maintenance on various systems and technologies across KAMO’s infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and repair telecommunications and computer equipment
• Install and maintain fiber optics, looks analog/digital microwave systems, two-way radio, SCADA, MAS radio, and related systems
• Perform underground and aerial fiber installations on distribution line structures
• Splice and terminate OPGW and ADSS fiber cables
• Maintain POP buildings, cabinets, and tower installations
• Ensure work aligns with NESC standards and technical specifications

Qualifications:
• Associate Degree in High Voltage Line Technology, Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related discipline from an accredited trade school or university
• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience; equivalent industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• Knowledge of NESC standards, fiber optics and microwave systems, Ethernet/IP network structure, TDM multiplexing, and AC/DC power systems

📍 Location: KAMO Power Headquarters – Vinita, Oklahoma

KAMO Power is seeking a service-oriented and detail-focused Member Services Representative I to join our team in Vinita, Oklahoma. This position plays a vital role in supporting our members by handling a high volume of inbound calls and moderate outbound calls, while addressing service-related issues with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to incoming calls, including outage reports, and create detailed service tickets for field crews
Resolve billing and disconnect-for-nonpayment issues, including arranging payment plans and processing reconnections
Work effectively under pressure, especially during emergency situations
Navigate multiple computer programs and screens while assisting members
Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required
0 to 2 years of experience in customer service, call center, or emergency services; utility experience preferred
Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays; position is subject to on-call rotation
