Job Title: Relay Meter Technician I

KAMO Power, located in Vinita, Oklahoma is in search of a Relay Meter Technician I. This position is eligible to report to KAMO’s Muskogee, Oklahoma warehouse. This position is responsible for performing tests, calibrations, maintenance and installation of distribution and interchange revenue metering systems, indicating meters, electrical transducers, LTC’s, complex relaying and control schemes. Required to troubleshoot electronic and electrical equipment to the component level.
The ideal candidate will have a basic level of knowledge and understanding of electrical theory and drawings and recognizing deviation of data from expected values. Ability to interpret written procedures and read electrical drawings, along with troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
An Associate Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering Technology or related field, at least one (1) year of related industry experience is preferred. Equivalent industry experience may be substituted for educational requirements.

Job Title: Engineering Technician III

KAMO Power, located in Vinita, Oklahoma is in search of a Engineering Technician III. The work location will be Vinita Headquarters.
The Engineering Technician will assist in relay and meter design of substations. Generate relaying and metering designs, drawings, specifications, material lists, SEL relay logic, SCADA points list, communication processor configurations and compliance spreadsheets.
Ideal candidates should have intermediate knowledge of relay event analysis, SCADA systems point list development, protective relays, revenue meters, power transformers, current transformers, circuit breakers, circuit switches, capacitor banks, wave traps, carrier equipment and reactors.
An associate’s of science degree in electrical engineering technology or electronic technology. Requires five *5) to seven (7) years of relay and metering experience. Additional directly related education and experience may be evaluated as an equivalent to education requirements.
