Job Title: Manager Construction and Right-Of-Way – Vinita, Oklahoma

KAMO Power, located in Vinita, Oklahoma is in search of a Manager Construction and Right-Of-Way. The work location will be the Vinita headquarters. KAMO offers an exceptional compensation and benefits package including 100% paid employee medical coverage and employer base contribution 401k plan.
The Manager Construction and Right-Of-Away is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the Project Managers and the Right-Of-Way Manager. This position will determine the survey and structural design requirements of transmission and substation facilities from conceptual plans until placed in service. Responsible for the construction of lines and substations, as well as, transmission line and right-of-way design, and vegetation management.
Ideal candidate should possess a thorough knowledge of current construction methods utilized in electric utility substations and transmission facilities and safety policies. This position requires a thorough knowledge of RUS, NERC, FEMA, DOT, DEQ, DNR, NESC standards and compliance procedures and other federal, state and local requirements as required. Maintain detailed knowledge of current engineering practices and code requirements as they relate to the design of sub/switch stations and transmission lines.
A Bachelor of Science Degree in project management or engineering from an ABET-accredited school or equivalent is required. Equivalent years of work experience may be considered toward educational requirements. Requires ten (10) or more years of experience in the design and construction management of electrical utility facilities, and in the acquisition and maintenance of right-of-way easements preferred. A minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience is preferred.
