The Project Manager position is responsible for the overall management of the construction, as well as major maintenance projects of KAMO facilities, including, but not limited to transmission and distribution substations, transmission lines, including aerial and underground fiber optic cable, telecom towers, buildings, warehouses, and related facilities.
Ideal candidates should possess knowledge of electric utility industry standards and products. Possess technical ability coupled with principles of accounting knowledge dealing with inventory, work orders and asset management and allocation problems. In addition to knowledge of RUS, NESC, NEC, federal, state, local and industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
A Bachelor of Science degree is required. An Electrical Engineering degree is preferred. Bachelor’s Degree must be from an ABET accredited program. Candidates should have a minimum of four (4) to nine (9) years’ experience in the construction or utility industry, two (2) years minimum in a Project Management or Construction Management role.

Job Title: Member Services Representative I

The position will handle heavy inbound call volume and moderate outbound calls, exercise independent judgement to help address member issues, and work in emergency situations with speed and accuracy. Resolve member’s billing and disconnect for non-payment issues by performing activities such as arranging for payments according to procedures, and reconnecting service. Ability to multi-task efficiently between phone, keyboard and multiple computer programs and screens to access and communicate customer information. Receive incoming calls concerning power outages and enter tickets with all pertinent information repair crews need to find and restore outages safely.
An ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma or GED. Zero (0) to two (2) years’ experience in a customer service, call center or emergency services environment, with utility experience is preferred. Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays and reside within 45 minutes of work location. This position is subject to on call.

Job Title: Engineering Technician I

The Engineering Technician will assist in relay and meter design of substations. Generate relaying and metering designs, drawings, specifications, material lists, SEL relay logic, SCADA points list, communication processor configurations and compliance spreadsheets.
Ideal candidates should have basic knowledge of relay event analysis, SCADA systems point list development, protective relays, revenue meters, power transformers, current transformers, circuit breakers, circuit switches, capacitor banks, wave traps, carrier equipment and reactors.
An associate’s of science degree in electrical engineering technology or electronic technology. Requires zero (0) to three (3) years of relay and metering experience. Additional directly related education and experience may be evaluated as an equivalent to education requirements.
