Member Services Representative I | Vinita, Oklahoma

Job Title:  Member Services Representative I (2)

KAMO Power, located in Vinita, Oklahoma is in search of a two Member Services Representatives I.  The work location is located at the Vinita Headquarters.

The positions will handle heavy inbound call volume and moderate outbound calls, exercise independent judgement to help address member issues, and work in emergency situations with speed and accuracy.  Resolve member’s billing and disconnect for non-payment issues by performing activities such as arranging for payments according to procedures, and reconnecting service.  Ability to multi-task efficiently between phone, keyboard and multiple computer programs and screens to access and communicate customer information.  Receive incoming calls concerning power outages, and enter tickets with all pertinent information repair crews need to find and restore outages safely.

Ideal candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED.  Zero (0) to two (2) years’ experience in a customer service, call center or emergency services environment, with utility experience is preferred.  Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays and reside within 45 minutes of work location.  This position is subject to on call.

All levels of experience will be considered.  Job and pay grade will be determined by the qualifications and experience o the selected candidates.

(KAMO Power), with headquarters in Vinita, Oklahoma, is a Generation and Transmission (G&T) cooperative formed in 1941.  KAMO is owned by and provides power supply resources for 17 member distribution cooperatives in northeast Oklahoma and southwest Missouri.  KAMO is one of six G&T utilities that own Associated Electric Cooperative, Inc.
