Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in relay and metering design of substations

Qualifications:

KAMO Power is seeking a Field Systems Analyst II to join our team in Spokane MO. This position is responsible for the troubleshooting, installation, testing, and repair of a wide range of complex telecommunications and computer systems, including fiber optics, two-way radio systems, microwave systems, SCADA, and more.
With a focus on both field work and technical systems, the ideal candidate will bring strong experience in telecommunications transmission technologies and electronic theory. The role includes both underground and aerial fiber construction, equipment installation at Point-of-Presence (POP) sites, and maintenance on various systems and technologies across KAMO’s infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and repair telecommunications and computer equipment
• Install and maintain fiber optics, looks analog/digital microwave systems, two-way radio, SCADA, MAS radio, and related systems
• Perform underground and aerial fiber installations on distribution line structures
• Splice and terminate OPGW and ADSS fiber cables
• Maintain POP buildings, cabinets, and tower installations
• Ensure work aligns with NESC standards and technical specifications
Qualifications:
• Associate degree in High Voltage Line Technology, Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related discipline from an accredited trade school or university
• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience; equivalent industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• Knowledge of NESC standards, fiber optics and microwave systems, Ethernet/IP network structure, TDM multiplexing, and AC/DC power systems

- Assist in construction, maintenance, replacement, inspection, and repair of electric transmission facilities
- Assist with fiber-optic construction and repair activities
- Work safely around energized lines ranging from 15kV to 345kV (including supervised hot work when required)
- Follow and promote all KAMO safety policies and procedures
- Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in proper working condition
- Assist with power restoration during outages and emergency situations
- Travel within service territory as required
- Perform duties in various weather conditions and extended hours when necessary
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a related field preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year related experience preferred
- Equivalent industry experience may substitute for degree
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

• Assist with system planning, upgrades, and protection & control capital projects
Qualifications:

- Support restoration efforts during power outages
- Learn and apply basic maintenance procedures for high-voltage equipment ranging from 15 kV to 345 kV
- Support the calibration of gauges and troubleshooting of electro-mechanical devices
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, physical design drawings, and technical specifications
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in applied science in Electronics or Electrical Engineering Technology required
- Equivalent industry experience may potentially be considered for substitution of degree requirements
