KAMO Power is currently seeking a relay technician knowledgeable in testing, calibration, maintenance and installation of revenue metering systems, indicating meters, electrical transducers, LTC’s, electromechanical and SEL relays, and control schemes. Ability to interpret written procedures and read electrical drawings, along with excellent troubleshooting and mechanical skills. Must live within 30 minutes from work location and possess, or have the ability to obtain, a valid, unrestricted commercial driver’s license. Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field required. 0-3 years relevant work experience as well as knowledge of NERC compliance is preferred. Compensation is based on the experience and qualifications of the selected applicant.

Member Services Representative I - Vinita, Oklahoma
This position will handle heavy inbound call volume and moderate outbound calls, exercise independent judgement to help address member issues, and work in emergency situations with speed and accuracy. Resolve members’ billing and disconnect for non-payment issues by performing activities such as arranging for payments according to procedures, and reconnecting service. Ability to multi-task efficiently between phone, keyboard and multiple computer programs and screens to access and communicate customer information. Receive incoming calls concerning power outages, and enter tickets with all pertinent information repair crews need to find and restore outages safely. The position requires 0-2 years’ experience in a customer service, call center or emergency services environment; utility experience preferred. A high school diploma or GED is also required. Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays and reside within 30 minutes of work location. This position is subject to on call.

Substation Design Engineer II - Vinita, Oklahoma
This position will work in a project team environment with other engineers and designers involved in high voltage substation design. Primary focus is on substation design, construction contract development and administration, construction management, materials contract development, construction contract and materials contract bid evaluations. Will also be involved with preparation of environmental reports. Position requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering or a fundamental science. 3-5 years of experience is preferred. Equivalent industry experience may potentially be considered in lieu of the degree requirements. This position will be filled at the appropriate pay grade level according to the experience and qualifications of the selected applicant.
