Software Architect | Location: Vinita, Oklahoma

Seeking a Software Architect who will be responsible for the development of architectural guidelines, software designs, applications and data concepts based on the business needs of KAMO Power and its member Cooperatives.  Needs the creativity and technical ability to transform those needs into productive enterprise applications for both large and small projects.  Will design technical software solutions, act as technical development team lead working with peers within the organization and will maintain direct involvement in a project from conception to deployment including continued maintenance and future upgrades. Must have a strong understanding of the software development process as well as a strong working knowledge of the business domain.  Should have extensive knowledge about technology, security, and networks in general. 

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and five years’ experience in database design is required as well as eight years of experience with MVC, C#, JavaScript and database connections.  Should have web development experience with various framework and deployment methods such as Angular, Type Script, etc.  Experience working with Electrical Distribution Outage Management System, Multispeak Interfaces, and EMS/DMS/SCADA systems as well as previous experience working with ESRI development and Milsoft network models is preferred.  Compensation is based on the experience and qualifications of the selected applicant.

Systems Analyst III | Location: Vinita, Oklahoma

Design, develop, troubleshoot and maintain databases and applications.  Will assist in troubleshooting network and email problems as well as provide computer, software and office equipment technical support for KAMO and member co-op employees.  Install and configure PCs, servers, software and office equipment.  candidate shall possess a minimum of (5) years’ experience developing Windows Forms, Windows Services, internet browser-based and console applications using industry standards and best practices.  Experience in designing, developing and maintaining databases using industry standards and best practices.  Experience in PC/server hardware, software, and office equipment troubleshooting and repair.  Should have experience in programming languages such as  ASP/ASP.NET, PHP, Perl, etc. C/C++.  A Bachelors degree in an IT related field is required.  Equivalent industry experience may potentially be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.  Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Telecom Transport Systems Engineer - Network Operations Center | Location: Vinita, Oklahoma

Maintain a regional DWDM, SONET, and MPLS Ethernet transport system that provides commercial services as well as internal communications to 300 plus electric substations and various remote offices. Engineer will also be responsible for the maintenance of Enterprise routers, switches, and firewalls.  Monitor the system and all customer services from the Network Operation Center, analyze events, and resolve all issues in a timely manner.  Create procedures, design and or modify service routes, send customer maintenance activity notices, and supervise remote system modifications.  Test and configure access equipment, Ethernet, TDM, and Optical services prior to customer release.  Coordinate performance tests by field engineers and technicians.  Initiate and track service requests.  This position will work a weekday rotation schedule of 10-hour day and evening shifts.  Experience in designing, managing, and provisioning telecommunications networks is required.  Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications Management or related field is required (EE, IS, or MIS with a minor in Telecommunications).  Directly related experience may potentially be considered in lieu of educational requirements.  KAMO offers an excellent compensation and benefits package.

Telecom Site Field Engineer | Location: Vinita, Oklahoma or Neosho, Missouri

Perform troubleshooting, installation, testing and repair of various types of complex telecommunications and computer equipment including fiber optics, Sonet equipment, two-way radio, SCADA, digital equipment, power line carrier, telephone systems, MAS radio systems, analog and digital microwave systems. Responsible for compiling data on all installed, modified, or removed electronic equipment and evaluates the equipment report to pinpoint problem areas.   Associates Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology or related discipline or equivalent years or work experience is required.  This position is subject to 24 hour call.  KAMO offers an excellent compensation and benefits package.
